And just like that we are in September and looking back on Summer 2024.

I'm afraid to say that it hasn't been the sunniest of Summers in Manchester, so I feel very fortunate that we managed to squeeze in a few weeks in the Algarve where the warmer weather was much appreciated.

August was another busy working month so our time in Portugal was very much a working holiday, however, the long sunny days meant there was plenty of time to work during the hotter midday hours and then hit the beach after 5 pm when it is a bit cooler and much quieter.

During our downtime, we pootled about in our little Citroën, ate the best fresh fish at the beach and enjoyed many sundowns.

Since arriving home I have been focusing on the transition into Autumn with a few more indoor activities, my favourite of which has been pottery painting.

I have noticed lots of little pottery and painting studios popping up around Manchester and it’s such a fun way to spend an afternoon with a friend or loved one. 

I hope you had a beautiful summer and created lots of special memories to look back on.
