Tip 1 - Do What you Love

Our own mental health wellness is a topic that often people don’t discuss, but that we all have to make a conscious effort to take care of.
In our family we have a history of acute mental health so from a young age I have placed a lot of importance on ways to keep a healthy mind.
Crafting, exercising, spending time in nature, yoga, meditation, journaling, finding the positive in situations (even the more challenging ones) … the list goes on.
So, my tip for you today is to make sure each day (or week, but I do it daily) you do at least one thing that feeds your healthy mind.

Tip 2 - Practice Gratitude
I practise gratitude daily. I use my five minute journal for this as it’s a quick and easy way to ensure I practise everyday, but do what’s works for you.
Maybe it’s just a mental note morning and night. Maybe you take a moment in the shower to think of what you are grateful for today. Or perhaps you incorporate gratitude into a meditation practise.
However it looks for you is perfect.
The important thing is to be grateful - because we all have a lot to be grateful for.
Tip 3 - Ask for Help
Sounds so simple, but so often we don’t ask until we are close to breaking.
I’ve been there myself in the early Beaumont years and it’s not healthy.
What I’ve found through the years is that people actually love to help, so in essence it’s a reciprocal thing that aids everyone.

Tip 4 - Surround yourself with positive people
Because like attracts like!
So, if you keep a positive circle around you this will strengthen your positive mind, and by doing so attract positive things into your life.
Tip 5 - Breathe
Sounds so simple - it’s something we do without even thinking most of the time. But conscious breath work is transformative.
I have practiced through the years with several teachers and now have a variety of exercises that work for me. It’s amazing how just taking a moment to consciously breath can change your mood, perspective, energy
