A NOTE FROM HANNAH
Reflecting On December
I'm looking back at December with a very full heart.
My month started with the most beautiful AW25 photoshoot. We have spent a lot of last year refining and fine-tuning the collection to offer more of what our customers are asking for and it was so exciting to watch it all come to life in December. Beautiful new fair isles paired with rosy red and forest green cords and the most scrumptious flannel check fabric. I can not wait to share it with you later in the year.
The following week, we all began our wind down for Christmas, which for Nelson and I involved preparing for a new adventure. If you follow me on Instagram you may have already followed along with our travels, heading to Portugal for a beautiful family Christmas, and our first experience of bringing along Lola (our miniature poodle)
Including Lola in our festivities was the ultimate highlight of the trip, which required us to get quite creative with various modes of transport, including plane, car, ferry and train. It wasn’t the swiftest trip but did allow us to have our fluffy bear with us for the
month away.
We rented a lovely apartment at the beach and enjoyed a very simple authentic month with our family and friends. Waking to a picture-perfect beach view, practising yoga on the terrace, endless long beach lunches and most importantly lots of time to rest and restore for the year ahead.
Other highlights included Lola’s morning sun (she loves the rays and was so cute sunbathing) and slow, simple days with no plans but to relax, chat with friends and family and enjoy being present. Combining this with wonderful fresh food (I always think the food tastes so much better in the Algarve; even simple food like tomatoes are just delicious) and cycling the local ria formosa (I will never tire of just how beautiful nature is) was the perfect formula for a reinvigorating break.
Honestly, I’m so grateful for the past few weeks, and by recharging, I am so excited for the year ahead.
I hope you also enjoyed the festive season and took time to rest and restore however that looks for you.
All my best wishes,
Hannah
